FridayGrid

Terms of Service

Last updated: July 2026 · Applies to fridaygrid.com and successor domains

Plain-language summary: Friday Grid is a directory that helps the film industry find vendors and crew. We verify contact details and moderate listings, but we are not a party to any deal you make. Be truthful in your listing, be respectful to others, and settle work terms directly with the other side.

1. Who we are and what Friday Grid is

Friday Grid is operated by Friday Pictures ("we", "us", "our"). It is an aggregator and discovery directory for film-industry vendors, technicians, services, exhibitors and community features ("the Platform"). By creating an account, listing a business, or otherwise using the Platform, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.

We are a directory, not a marketplace. We do not process payments, hold funds in escrow, take commissions, or act as an agent, employer, or contracting party for any engagement that begins on the Platform. All negotiations, agreements, payments, and disputes are strictly between the users involved.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

5. Content you upload

You keep ownership of the photos, showreels, and text you upload. You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, and reasonably promote that content as part of operating the Platform (e.g. showing your listing in search results or a featured section). This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for cached copies and content already shared by others.

ID documents uploaded for verification are stored privately, are visible only to moderators, and are never displayed publicly.

6. Reporting and moderation

7. Disputes between users

Because engagements happen off-Platform, we cannot adjudicate commercial disputes (unpaid fees, quality of work, schedule failures, and the like). We encourage you to: (a) put every engagement in writing, (b) confirm rates and deliverables before work begins, and (c) resolve disagreements directly or through your union/association. We may consider documented dispute patterns in moderation decisions, but we have no obligation to mediate, and we are not liable for any user's conduct.

8. Liability and disclaimers

9. Contact and grievances

Questions about these Terms, moderation appeals, and grievances under applicable Indian law can be sent to the contact published in the Privacy Policy (Grievance Officer section). We aim to acknowledge grievances within 72 hours.
